The people working there are genuinely kind folks who care for you, and it shows in the food. In terms of taste, there's not many places in Tulsa that quite compare. Fantastic establishment.
I was craving fried okra and just so happened to be on this side of town when i spotted this southern style resturant. First time being here, clean floors, clean tables, and the cashier was nice. Took our order correctly and efficiently and called out our food to the cook so he could get started right away! After ordering and grabbing our drinks, our food arrived maybe 10-15 minutes later. My familys food came out hot AND fresh and you could just tell their fryer oil gets changed regulary. The chicken and catfish we order was seasoned to perfection along with the french fries and of course the okra we ordered as sides. Had Family Feud playing while we ate and made the dining experience more entertaining by guessing along with the families on the TV. In love with this place and will be coming by more often! 10/10 ✨
I went ahead and got the special and was a cheeseburger with fries chili got a couple of pieces of baklava, there are times when I'm skeptical of chili being on fries because of how people make their chili it's all different. You know sometimes it gives you heartburn you don't want to deal with. This is not the case was really good chili really tasty I almost finished all of it, I normally don't finish off my plate anyway. Thank you very much people are very friendly very good service I'll be coming back here, give this one definitely a thumbs up, 👍
This restaurant is a little hidden gem. It’s is clean and well organized inside. The food is SO very, very tasty. Portions are generous. Prices are fair. Service is great; people are very kind. I recommend the red beans and rice, my grandma recommends the fish and shrimp, and my husband recommends the Philly cheesesteak. We will definitely be coming back here!
Good is fresh and service is warm and caring like the name southern hospitality !! Prices reasonable for amounts of food. Mine was the 2 chicken 2 fish 2 sides and a drink for $9.50 . Well worth it . Also the red beans and rice are amazing aswell
Got the 2 fish & 2 chicken w/okra, green beans, and fried pickles. Everything was so good!! The catfish and fried pickles were especially delicious. Catfish was light and crispy and the fillets were huge! The chicken was good, but not quite as crispy as I would have liked. Would definitely recommend and will probably be ordering here again.
Hands down the best burger I ever had. If you're looking for a good mom and pop shop, this is it. The woman at the counter is super nice and friendly. The cook came out and asked how the food was. The place wwas clean and not loud. My wife loves this place and wants to go back again.
Delicious meal. Classic southern food. I got the Philly sandwich with red beans and rice and she got the 3 piece chicken tenders. Both were amazing and moist and hands down delicious. Come support this local beauty
Fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. Texture just right. Smell mouthwatering. Everything was seasoned. I could literally eat here everyday and I want to. Better that home cooking.
